Privacy notice for this website
Last updated: August 2026
What this notice covers
This notice explains what manomundi.com — this public website — does with personal information. It covers the contact form and the anonymous usage statistics we keep for the site itself, and nothing else.
The Manomundi platform at app.manomundi.com is a separate service with its own privacy notice, its own consent records and its own retention rules. If you have an account there, or you are a worker, an employer or a partner going through a hiring process, those are the documents that govern your data. They are linked at the top and bottom of this page.
Who is responsible
Manomundi is responsible for the information collected through this website. You can reach us at alenvaldez@manomundi.com or on +351 910 231 222 with any question about this notice, or with any request about your own data.
What we collect
From the contact form: your name and email address and, depending on which option you select, your phone number, your company or organisation, your country, your sector, the roles you are looking to fill, the type of organisation you represent, and whatever you write in the message field. You choose what to enter — only your name, your email and your message are needed for us to reply.
Automatically: aggregated, anonymous usage statistics such as pages viewed, approximate country, referring site and type of device. These are collected without cookies and without any identifier that could single you out. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking on this website.
We also record when a form was submitted and keep a short-lived technical record of the submission, purely to block automated spam.
Why we use it, and on what basis
We use what you send us for one purpose: to answer you, and to continue the conversation you started. Where that conversation concerns a possible working relationship, we process the information in order to take steps at your request before entering into a contract; otherwise we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
Site statistics rest on our legitimate interest in understanding, in aggregate, whether this website is useful. Because they are anonymous, they cannot be traced back to you.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
Who else sees it
Only the people at Manomundi who need to answer you, plus the providers that make answering possible: our email delivery provider, which sends our internal notification and your automatic acknowledgement, and our hosting and database providers, which run this website and store your message. They act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes.
Where information is transferred outside your country, it is protected by the standard contractual clauses approved for that purpose.
How long we keep it
Messages that do not lead anywhere are deleted within two years. Messages that begin a working relationship are kept for as long as that relationship lasts, and afterwards for the period we are legally required to retain business records. You can ask us to delete yours sooner at any time.
Anonymous site statistics have no personal component and are kept in aggregate form.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, to correct anything that is wrong, to delete it, to restrict what we do with it, to receive it in a portable format, or to object to our using it at all. Write to alenvaldez@manomundi.com and we will answer within one month.
If you are in the European Union you also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority. In Portugal that is the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD).
Changes to this notice
If we change how this website handles information, we update this page and the date at the top. Substantive changes will be obvious rather than quiet.
